Make multiplication practice an adventure

Help your child master multiplication and division facts while sending their own pet on an exciting journey to the Moon. Pick a pet, give it a name and blast off. Every right answer lifts the rocket a little higher. A wrong answer lets it sink.

How it works

  1. Type a name and pick a pet from twenty animals.
  2. Choose multiplication (3 脳 4) or division (12 梅 3).
  3. Choose which facts to practice: all tables, tables 6 to 9, your own pick, or the problems that still feel hard.
  4. Press the rocket. You play two rounds of one minute. Then you see how many problems you got right.

What will my child practice?

The game covers the multiplication and division facts from 1 to 10. That is the core of 3rd grade math: multiplying and dividing within 100 and knowing the facts from memory. In the "Practice what I still find hard" mode, the problems your child misses come back more often and the ones they already know come back less. A missed problem returns after a few questions.

There are no long lists and no lectures while you play. Your child sees one problem, types the answer and sees right away whether the rocket climbs.

Who is it for?

Pet Rocket is made for kids ages 7 to 10 (roughly 2nd to 4th grade) who are learning or reviewing their multiplication facts, at home or in the classroom. A child can play alone. A parent can check the statistics to see which facts are still tricky. Pet Rocket is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Common Core State Standards Initiative.

No account, no fuss

You do not have to sign up to play. The name, the pet and the results then stay on your own device. A parent or teacher can choose to create an account to keep the progress. There are no ads and no tracking cookies. Read the privacy notice.
