- 12 ÷ 6 = 2
- 18 ÷ 6 = 3
- 24 ÷ 6 = 4
- 30 ÷ 6 = 5
- 36 ÷ 6 = 6
- 42 ÷ 6 = 7
- 48 ÷ 6 = 8
- 54 ÷ 6 = 9
- 60 ÷ 6 = 10

Trick
Halve first, then divide by 3. 42 ÷ 6: half of 42 is 21, and 21 ÷ 3 = 7.
Watch out
Only even numbers divide by 6. Dividing an odd number by 6 always leaves a remainder.
